For a first impression what can be done with CALSCRIPT objects please see the following video (click into the video to start it, click again to stop it). We are using the CALSCRIPT commands CC-SCRIPT to read a script and create a CALSCRIPT object from it. Then we use CC-MODIFY to modify this object and copies of it individually. Then we use CC-CONNECT to establish a communication between individual objects.
After that we create a CALSCRIPT object from the GEAR.SCR script file. And again we can establish the communication between these objects. And we can use this commuication between diffrent GEAR objects to model a gearbox. With the help of a small Lisp function we can modify the master gear step by step and can see the animated gearbox. Please know that this animation is real time object modification in BricsCAD. AutoCAD unfortunately is a bit slower and so the animation will run a little bit bumpy.
